The Friends of the Crockett County Public Library annual meeting and dinner will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 4, at the Civic Center.

Mi Familia will cater a Mexican dinner, including beef or chicken enchilada plates with iced tea and Tres Leche cake for dessert. Tickets are $12 per person and payment made be made at the library or at the door. Advance reservations are needed to ensure the caterer prepares the correct amount of food. If you would like meals to go, you will be accommodated! Please RSVP to the Library at 392-3565.

Our program will be by Rashda Khan, lifestyle columnist for the San Angelo Standard Times. Many of you have probably seen her interesting programs about food on TV.

Please make every effort to attend and bring your friends along for a nice evening out. At this meeting, the Friends of the Library board will give a review of the past year’s activities, present a slate of new officers for election, and try to answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding our activities. Your support of the library is vital for the continuation of the Children’s Summer Program events as well as other special needs of the library, which fall outside the purview of Crockett County’s budget for the library.
